According to the ‘Syrian Network for Human Rights’, the number of IDPs has reached 7 million by November 2014. Fleeing their homes in a sudden, the afflicted households lack the simplest necessities of life, including proper winter clothing.
To help displaced children overcome their suffering, ‘Beyaz Eller’ raised $ 290,970 to obtain and distribute 5,000 blankets and 5,000 winter clothing sets.
The project took place in August 2015 and followed the organization’s ‘Shelter and Non-food Assistance Program’ that aims at alleviating the suffering of displaced families, preserving their human dignity, and enabling a sustainable livelihood.
