In Protection and Sponsorship Program, Beyaz Eller updates the statistics on families-without-breadwinners and orphan children. We adopt a comprehensive approach to human development as to include psychological, financial, educational, and healthy wellbeing.

Our ultimate goal is to help families with orphan children overcome the crisis and become productive self-dependent households. We also extend support to refugee orphans and IDPs as means to integrate them into the Turkish society. Thanks to our local offices inside Syria and Turkey, our projects build upon thorough examination of beneficiaries’ living conditions, education and health. In this way, we ensure an efficient use of donations.

Our projects involve four types of activities:

  • Sponsoring Orphan Children and their Families

This project aims at supporting orphans and families-without-breadwinners. By offering $50 monthly for a year time, or securing simple income sources, we develop the productivity of benefiting households to help them earn living.

By 2016, our organization has supported 210 orphans and 458 families.

  • Sponsoring 100 of Martyrs’ Families

In this project, we provide $150 monthly allowances for families of martyred citizens who sacrificed their lives to the Syrian cause. Beneficiaries of this project reached 453 families.

  • Eid Clothing

Whether inside Syria or in Turkey, Beyaz Eller takes on its shoulder the mission of pleasing Syrian children during Eid. By 2016, we have distributed over 4,000 clothing sets to orphan and poor children.

  • Zakat Al Fitr Projects

Every year, Beyaz Eller distributes Zakat Al Fitr on poor Syrian households- approximately $25 for each. By 2016, 4,580 families have received Zakat a Fitr by the end of Ramadan.

  • Psychological Support Projects

To ease the pressure on children and help them overcome war turmoil, Beyaz Eller organizes a number of psychological support projects. Every year, recreational parties are organized for 1,500 school students, while football leagues are held for refugee children in Turkey. Orientation and support sessions address children’s violent attitudes that normally develop after horrific experiences. Also, cultural and entertainment camps in Urfa, and Eid ceremonies target afflicted children. In 2016, ceremonies in Doma and Aleppo entertained 250 and 340 children- respectively.

You can support our efforts to make Syria a safe ad livable place. You can save 2.7 million children from forced labor. All you need to do is to support our efforts to make Syria a better place.
