Between 06/04/2015 and 30/06/2015, “Beyaz Eller”, supported by “International Rahma Association”-Norway, undertook “food baskets” distribution project in eastern Ghouta.

The project came under an emergency relief plan to satisfy the needs of besieged families in eastern Ghouta. Food supplies were bought, parceled and distributed to needy beneficiaries.

The project results included relieving the material burden on besieged families, meeting their need for food, and pleasing their hearts.

30 baskets were distributed in Doma, 20 in Hamouriya, 20 in Arbin and 15 in Marj Assultan. Baskets included basic food supplies such as sugar, flour, rice and lentile. The number of beneficiary families reached 85 (510 individuals).
