“Beyaz Eller” Supports and Organizes Girls’ Summer Club in Istanbul

Under title “Lightening Roads with Hearts’ Shine” and in coordination with “Ma’an” Association, “Beyaz Eller” supported and organized Girls’ Summer Club in Istanbul.

Club activities started on the second week of Blessed Ramadan 1437. It extended for two months, three days a week, four hours a day. Volunteering teachers were 25 females to 130 participants.

During the club hours, girls were taught Quran, Islamic sciences, and many skills and hand crafts, such as cooking. Trips and competitions were organized and girls memorized several parts of the Holy Quran.

In an interview, the club supervisor emphasized how important is organizing these activities during the summer vacation, to protect children from drawbacks of misused leisure time. She emphasized how club activities fill children time with useful educational activities that help building a balanced character, in addition to guiding their behavior by educational specialists. Finally, she highlighted clubs’ role in early discovery of children skills and talents.

In “Zübeyda Hanım” Hall- Istanbul, the closing ceremony was organized on 19/09/2016 to honor club participants. The event started with recitation of Holy Quran, followed by chanting and showings simulating the Syrian reality.

Also, girls deciding to wear Hijab were coronated during a chanting clause.
The ceremony was concluded by distributing prizes on distinguished girls as well as volunteering teachers, for their great efforts to make this project successful, ad for the positive change they caused in girls hearts.
