Beyaz Eller Organizes an Honoring Ceremony for Young Quran Reciters

In a country where 3.5 million IDP are children and 2.4 million have dropped out of education, providing safe and protective learning spaces becomes way more challenging than ever. To children, education provides a sense of normalcy and psychological support. It builds their survival skills and coping mechanisms, and protects them against exploitation. Therefore, since 2013, Beyaz Eller has focused on education as one cornerstone of its relief and development activities. We sponsor, support and restore many of the damaged schools and set them back to work. Part of our activities is to organize competitions and ceremonial events for top students in our sponsored schools. Hence, we organized an honoring ceremony for young Quran reciters in Khalilu-Rahman school in western rural Aleppo. Students received encouragement awards while several entertainment and cultural events released their stranded tensions. This came under Beyaz Eller Education Program that aims at providing financial, religious and psychological support for Syria’s young generation.
