Beyaz Eller Establishes a Refugee Camp in Northern Rural Aleppo

Violence in Syria has created the largest humanitarian crisis in modern time. Extended to a sixth year, humanitarian needs across the country stretch beyond description. Relentless, deadly conflict destroys lives, families and entire communities. According to UN estimates, 6.6 million people are internally displaced and in urgent need for humanitarian assistance. Moreover, the recent Russian-supported onslaught on Aleppo forced more hundreds of thousands to escape their homes. Stranded on streets and farm hills, afflicted families can barely find shelter to protect children and ensure privacy. To alleviate part of their suffering, Beyaz Eller cooperated with Abdullah Nouri organization on providing 2000 4*4 camp tents equipped with electricity cables, water containers and other household necessities. Tents are designed in four shields that include isolators to protect families from climatic threats. The project benefited 10,000 displaced individuals and came under Beyaz Eller Shelter and Non-Alimentary Aid Program, that aims at alleviating the suffering of displaced Syrians, preserving their human dignity and enabling them a sustainable livelihood.
