Beyaz Eller Established a Local Clinic in al-Ruston

According to Physician for Human Rights, over 346 attacks on medical facilities have been carried out since the beginning of the Syrian conflict. Human casualties included over 705 medical worker, in addition to thousands of civilians. As one of the earliest liberated cities, al-Ruston medical, education and social infrastructure were demolished. A report on August 2015 stated that over 30,000 besieged family suffer from an extreme shortage in medicines and medical workers. To alleviate part of their hardship, White Hands established a clinic to provide first aid and free medication to the besieged families. The institution provides financial, material and logistic support to the clinic for 356 days of its functioning. The project costs $131,460 and follows Beyaz Eller Health Program that aims at preserving human life, supporting Syria’s medical infrastructure and enabling a healthy livelihood.
