An Alienating Winter for IDPs in Syria

An Alienating Winter for IDPs in Syria

حملة دفء

This year, winter comes with new challenges to IDPs in Syria who were forced out of their homes, fleeing war. The more their numbers grow, so are the difficulties to secure their daily needs amid bad living conditions and lack of simplest necessities and basic winter supplies, altogether reflecting a serious life-threatening disaster.

Thereof, ‘Beyaz Eller’ has launched winter projects to meet some basic needs of IDPs in displacement zones, as means to protect vulnerable households against winter conditions that engulf their lives inside camps. Towards this, the organization has provided winter clothing and blankets in Homs, Aleppo, Idlib, and Damascus countryside.

The total number of distributed blankets reached 2,500, in addition to 1,000 winter clothing. Our projects benefited 10,500 individuals this year.
