Opening Akhtarin and Sharan Schools

After the waves of displacement and forced migration of many of the people of the Syrian governorates towards the border areas and cities in the north of Syria, due to the relative safety of these areas and the availability of some basic services, the population density resulting from this displacement revealed the deficit in many service sectors and infrastructure for the areas of northern Syria.
And it is worth mentioning that the most important sectors, in which the deficit rate has reached an amount that requires a rapid intervention by community organizations and charities, is the educational sector.

Kuwait and Supporting Education in Syria
As our brothers in the State of Kuwait are accustomed to us, they provided relief to their Syrian families, whether inside Syria or in the countries of asylum, with their permanent standing and their rapid intervention. The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the State of Kuwait, after doing a field study and survey of the education sector accomplished by the Beyaz Eller Association, directed the construction of new schools to accommodate the large number of our students. After a year of continuous work and challenging obstacles, two schools have opened in the Northern Syria, as the first in Sharan district in the Olive Branch area and the second in Akhtarin area in the Euphrates Shield area.Description of the School Construction Project
The project was based on the construction of two schools, the first in the Sharan district - the Olive Branch area - and the second in the Akhtarin area - the Euphrates Shield area in the northern countryside of Aleppo. Each of these two schools consists of two floors and includes thirteen classrooms and four administrative rooms, and it is equipped with the requirements of chairs, boards, teaching aids, and other school and administrative equipment. The capacity of each school will be approximately 700 students divided into two morning and evening shifts.
