In 2015, ‘Beyaz Eller’ distributed 500 tents to displaced families from Idlib and Gesr al-Sheghour. Tents provide security, privacy, and protection against winter coldness and summer heat, in addition to rejoining displaced family members and protecting children from climatic threats. The project amounted to $170,000 and targeted 250 beneficiaries. This followed ‘Shelter and Non-food Assistance Program’ that aims at alleviating the suffering of displaced Syrian households.
