Ramadan Al-Khair 13 Campaign Report
Despite our joy at liberation, we do not forget that the Syrian people still suffer from the consequences of long years of injustice and oppression, during which the state and its people's resources were plundered, and the living conditions of many deteriorated.
In this context, the 'Ramadan Al-Khair 13' campaign, launched by White Hands Association, came to embody the values of solidarity and mutual support that characterize our authentic Syrian society.
The campaign aimed to provide support and assistance to needy families during this holy month, alleviating their suffering as much as possible. Thanks to God Almighty and the efforts of the White Hands, the campaign achieved the following:
- Food Meals: 70,000 food meals were distributed to those in need, providing them with essential sustenance during the month of fasting.
- Collective Iftar (Breaking Fast): 10 collective Iftar gatherings were held, benefiting 7,000 people, which strengthened the spirit of brotherhood and connection among community members.
- Aqiqah (Newborn Sacrifice) and Vows:
- 90 sheep
- 4 calves
- Bread Distribution: 250,000 bundles of bread were distributed, providing this essential resource to families.
- Eid Clothing: Clothing was distributed to 1,000 children, bringing joy to their hearts on this blessed occasion.
- Zakat al-Fitr (Charity before Eid): Zakat al-Fitr was distributed to 1,765 families, enabling them to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
- Food Baskets: 4,960 food baskets were distributed, providing essential food supplies to needy families.
- Eid Joy: 500 children benefited from the "Eid Joy" activities, which aimed to bring smiles to their faces.
- Ramadan Cooking (Support): Food support was provided to 1,500 families through the "Ramadan Cooking" program.
- Total Beneficiaries: The total number of beneficiaries from the campaign reached 188,000 people.
