Many Syrian families were forced to flee to Turkish cities as the only mean to safeguard their lives. Families of injured or deceased bread-winners are particularly vulnerable to economic and humanitarian pressures. In August 2015, Beyaz Eller extended help to Syrian refugees in Antakya; it successfully distributed 2,500 food baskets at a total cost of $92,000. The project benefited 10,000 and came under Beyaz Eller Food Security and Livelihood Program. Our efforts aim at alleviating the Syrians’ humanitarian suffering, preserving their human dignity and enabling them a sustainable livelihood.
