Supported by \u201cHumanitarian Relief Caravans Team\u201d, the project included distributing food baskets, heaters, and heating oil to help afflicted families brave the winter storms that hit the two areas.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, 100 food baskets were distributed in the eastern Ghouta, benefiting 600 individuals. In Homs, 200 blankets were distributed to 200 beneficiaries. Also, 1,125 individuals received 3,759 litres of mazut- 20 litres\/family.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the project involved the distribution of 15 heaters to 75 beneficiaries. The total number of beneficiaries reached 2,000 individuals.<\/p>\n<p>Noteworthy, this project supported besieged citizens in Homs and Damascus countryside, by\u00a0provision of food, clothing, and heating oil for impoverished and besieged households. In addition, it discouraged a new wave of displacement to\u00a0warm areas.
