Under an hourly shelling, 300,000 in Aleppo have been cut off supplies for the longest stretch since the beginning of the Syrian conflict. The escalation of the air and artillery strikes on the only road leading to the FSA-held areas put those inhabitants under effective siege. Reportedly, aid stocks are running down while prices jump higher; thus adding more strain on the limited finances of residents weakened by more than five years civil war. To ease their extreme hardship, Beyaz Eller, in cooperation with Abdullah Al-nouri Association, distributed food baskets on 500 families in Aleppo and its countryside. The project benefited 2,500 individuals and came under Beyaz Eller Food Security and Livelihood Program that aims at alleviating humanitarian suffering and staving off hunger of millions trapped in the ongoing civil war.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
