It rendered the majority of Syrians poor, uneducated, diseased and victimized to torture and abuse. As the crisis raved, Beyaz Eller extended its reach to all areas of need inside Syria, in addition to refugee camps in Turkey.\u00a0Thanks to collaboration of many individual and institutional partners, it has been able to reach besieged areas, including Damascus countryside, Homs countryside, Aleppo, Madaya, and Dar\u2019a.<\/p>\n<p>Beyaz Eller has succeeded in delivering 18 million humanitarian services through 545 completed projects that served different sectors and needs, including distribution of food baskets and shelter supplies, establishment of hospitals and clinics, and operating 13 schools inside the country.<\/p>\n<p>Also, since 2016, Beyaz Eller has given special attention to development and early recovery programs as means to create work opportunities and assist local self-sufficiency and inter-dependence. These programs aim at mitigating social exclusion, alleviating the financial suffering, and providing equal and sufficient opportunities of self-realization for every Syrian citizen.<\/p>\n<p>In parallel, Beyaz Eller works on a project to preserve the Syrian identity. Today, the number of refugees amounts at 50% of the population, with a majority living abroad for more than 4 years. In Turkey, 120,000 children were born in exile. Our aim is to develop a documentation method to protect the identity of each Syrian, no matter where he may be.<\/p>\n<p>Beyaz Eller has successfully grown from $2.5 million in 2013 to more than $12 million in 2015. We would like to thank all our partners and donors who have confirmed their commitment to helping brothers and sisters in Syria and hosting countries.
